"Legend says that long ago all Nords could use the Thu'um..." Einar draws her closer. "Nowadays, its very few, the Graybeards and those they feel have potential."
Ibani approves of this 'drawing her closer' plan. The more skin contact the better, yes?
"All living things are connected by the Force, but not all beings can use it. Those that can are generally picked up and taken in by the Orders, sometimes from birth."
"I wonder if there was a time when everyone could touch the Force, back at the dawn of things..."
"Only the Nords had the Thu'um, a gift of Kyne." Einar's right hand idly caresses Ibani's back. "But we ranged far and wide since then, and most of the races of Man could have a bit of Nord blood and spirit."
"Kyne is a god?" The idea of gods is still a little strange to her, we must admit.
Ibani appreciates the caress, arching a little into his hand. "In the thousands of years of our history we've ranged far and wide as well. Conquering and conquered, kings and concubines." She chuckles. "They say 97 in a 100 Imperial Citizens has Sith blood in the family line somewhere. Not surprising, really, considering the strength of our passions."
"She sounds like my kind of god," Ibani replies with a soft smile. "I have a knack with lightning, and I would free those in chains, teach them how to be free."
Physical chains, mental chains, it doesn't matter.
Maybe Einar will use the Thu'um to recompose the empire and stop the damned Aldmer. "People don't realize how freedom is important until they lose it."
Well, since he seems to like that...Ibani moves on to gentle neck kisses.
"Force sensitives learn to trust the Force implicitly," she explains between kisses. "More than sight, sound...touch. I would have KNOWN if there was anything nearby that meant me harm."
"Hm, here and there and then, while I went from Skyrim to High Rock, from Hammerfell to Cyrodiil." He sounds like pondering where to start talking about himself...
"Learning how to make them, a season or a year here and there, and then moving to another place." He gives a small sigh. "I've been on the road since my home village died out."
He is quiet a moment or two, resting a hand on Ibani's back; then, Einar speaks. "I was born in Grimseth, on the coast of the Sea of Ghosts. The whole region is of harsh winter and very short summer, not for the weak or the coward, but we had the sea, and the mine; we hunted Horkers for meat, hide and ivory, we mined and smelted iron, and we traded for what else we needed."
"Then, the pirates came, after food and weapons." He falls silent again for a bit. "They expected to find easy-to-scare villagers, we expected to make them run by attacking the moment they set foot on land."
Einar shakes head slowly, and sighs, again silent for a stretch.
"...when morning came, the pirate ships were smoldering wrecks, and most of the village was smoldering ruins; only a dozen of us were alive, and all injured." He is of course, skipping the events of that night. "Four more died during that day, and the rest could only bury the dead, gather supplies, and leave."
"I have been wandering since then, a half year with a Khajiit caravan, another half year working a mine or a forge, a season here and there working as a guard. I crossed Skyrim a few times, then traveled to the other lands of Men."
"Not harder than many other ways of living." He gives as much of a shrug someone can, while laying in bed with another person very close. "I was coming back to Skyrim from Cyrodiil, thinking about finding a place to settle down... maybe Whiterun and learn from Eorlund Gray-Mane, maybe Solitude and join the Bard's college, when I ran into an ambush the Legion had set up for the Stormcloak rebels."
"I was netted, beaten, tied up and carted along with the Stormcloaks to the garrison at Helgen; once there, the captain in charge decided to chop my head off along with the others, because... well, because she was a bloodthirsty fool."
Ibani scowls at Einar's description of his treatment. "That doesn't speak well for their competence." Seriously, picking up random travelers and treating them as rebels?
"I'm glad you escaped." Because he obviously did, as he's not dead.
"I escaped because a Dragon got in its mind to raze Helgen to the ground." His tone is still of slight disbelief; Einar gives Ibani a description of the attack, the chaos, the fighting, the escape into the caves under Helgen.
"Fresh air, the cold breeze never felt so good as they did when we left the caves, still alive and mostly unscathed."
Ibani listens intently to his story. Einar's dragons don't sound anything she's ever heard of before.
"I can imagine," Ibani replies with a smile at his description of the breeze. "Mystics would say that the Force works in mysterious ways, but I am just glad that luck and skill led to your survival."
"Hm. A Khajiit once told me, it does not matter of you believe in Fate; what it does matter, is if Fate believes in you." Einar moves to kiss her forehead. "I never imagined I was Dragonborn, that I would use the Thu'um like the heroes of the past."
"I think some people try to guess what fate has in store for them, and always end disappointed because they can't read the future." Einar's hand continues to stroke Ibani's back, all the way along her spine. "I'm sure neither of us ever imagined... well, this."
Right, interdimensional Bar, meeting people from other universes...
Time to catch his lips with hers and show what she's learned. And something more, perhaps.
They are literally touching, so it's easy for her mind to brush gently against his, sharing her feelings of desire, pleasure, friendship, and joy with Einar.

His power didn't harm her, so she's not worried about it. (Considering how...close they've been, if it was going to do that it would have by now.)

Thankfully, the memory of recent events catches up to her before she can do more than shift slightly.
The shift may or may not wake Einar up, depending on how deeply he sleeps.
